#Iconoclast Drudge & Full Auto

The fact that it says "additional" infers to me that it means that the same type should be used for all d3 attacks; you don't chose one when you make the 2nd and 3rd. The removal of the "additional" would imply none benefit; "basic" POW13 attacks. But it is ambiguous.
That's what I thought, but it's the first time I've seen that verbiage, so...
The fact there's a POW there at all actually makes me think that none of the attacks benefit might be the intent. But as written at the moment, I wouldn't say that's how I would play it.
I think the "additional" is due to it being a star action, whereupon you have to give up your initial attacks
Since the POW changes for the two attack types, my money is on the base line stats is used for Full Auto.
I read it as essentially a templating error
The rule should just say "Choose one special rule and apply it to all d3 attacks".
unless its intending is to utilize the base stat line without either special rule
I've simply never heard of a fully auto flamethrower before.
Help us, Obi Wan Ke@gleaming geyser, you're our only hope.
Aren’t all flamethrowers full auto?
Is a water hose full auto?
it'll certainly be very interesting if I can throw an average of 6 automatic POW 8's down range
technically speaking, any weapon which fires a continuous stream of ammunition while holding down the trigger is full auto.
Feel like that only applies to bullets
but technically speaking even further, fully automatic refers to the reload.
I mean yes, I could see it both ways
Let's not bog down the Rules chat with debating real world minutiae when asking about the implications of lobotomized body horrors controlled by psychokinetic cenobites.
I just think its dumb to have an initial stat line youd ultimately never use
he is here
I don't need to ask about the real-world impacts of upper management.
Kreuger3: 👀
They have dashes for that afterall
If i recall this is an attack that does not allow for selecting any other attack types
And Leonard has stated what I was about to
Keep non rules discussions out right now
If that's confirmed to be the case, can we see about the word "additional" being removed? That's what seems to be causing the confusion.
Sure we can remove that. Think it was an artifact of when it was an attack type in testing
Sorry for going off subject, I a lot of times use the real world to understand why rules are the way they are.
So to be clear, when selecting the special attack, it's just d3 pow 13s?
any "other" attack types, or any attacks types at all? I still don't understand which it is.
No attack types. Just d3 POW 13s
Yes
