#There is no sound via Bluetooth

Can you go to the My Controller tab in DSX and show your polling rate? It might be that the Bluetooth connection isn't very stable or there's too many Bluetooth devices or something
Is an average of 28-30 hz normal or bad?
That is quite low..it is best to aim for around 250Hz
Do you have a lot of Bluetooth devices connected? It might just be that there's too much for your Bluetooth adapter to handle. If there's not a lot of devices then maybe you could try moving the Bluetooth adapter to a port that is closer to where your controller usually is
only the gamepad is connected via Bluetooth, the device that plays Bluetooth is new, it just came to me from the store. are there any other options to increase the survey frequency?as I understand it, this is where the problem turns on because the sound is tripled?
The polling rate being low means that the Bluetooth connection is not very strong. It is usually caused by
-
Too many devices (headphones, earbuds, mice, keyboards) connected to the computer by Bluetooth. To solve this, you may need to disconnect other devices.
-
The Bluetooth antenna being too far away from the controller, or being blocked by objects. To solve this, if your Bluetooth antenna is in a USB adapter, you may need to move it to a port on the front of your computer
Since it's only the gamepad probably try moving the Bluetooth adapter
Sorry haha I skipped a word when reading and didn't see that you already said it was only the controller connected
I have a mouse and headphones connected via a radio channel, they have special devices in the PC and a keyboard via usb.I don't have an antenna, my Bluetooth is like a whistle.Maybe I should bring it back to the store.
Yeah that is the thing I mean. That USB Bluetooth adapter should be good enough I think. Is it plugged into the back of your PC? Can you move it to the front?
I have now tried to connect the whistle through the back side where the input to the video card is located next to it and from above where the shutdown button is located in all usb devices, it was able to knock out the maximum polling frequency of 33 hz
Dang that's crazy. Maybe you should bring that adapter back to the store then. That is way too low
With nothing other than the controller connected you should be able to get 250-500Hz
If you turn off the Bluetooth Audio/Haptics mode in DSX how much does that make the polling rate go up by?
If you connect the gamepad via a wire, the polling frequency is 250 hz.
when bluetooth audio haptics is turned on and off, the polling frequency does not change as it was 30 and remains
Okay ya. That sounds like maybe a problem with the Bluetooth adapter
To avoid the sound from shaking, what is the minimum sampling rate of 250 Hz?
I am not sure but if you can get around 200Hz that would probably be enough. For me, when I have too many things connected and DSX shows 100-150Hz polling rate, usually everything is fine but sometimes the controller will stop working for a second during a game. So probably try to have 200Hz or more. That shouldn't be hard if you're only using the controller over Bluetooth, so hopefully a different Bluetooth adapter will work fine
by the way, the most amazing thing is that with a polling frequency of 30, I didn't notice any lag in the game when playing Beyond Two Souls.
really? that is surprising. i guess the connection is very stable even if it's only accepting data from the controller at 30Hz...
idk maybe there is something i am missing. @mellow onyx might know more
(Ratyxa is having trouble with BT audio capture being very laggy and stuttery. DSX shows a polling rate of 28-33Hz while connected BT 6.0 dongle with nothing else connected by bluetooth. disabling BT audio/haptics does not increase the polling rate. other controller functions seem stable even though the polling rate is very low)

Thanks, ill take a look soon
Okay, thanks for the help.
i see you were aiming for the achievement 😉
Right off the bat, i don't see any major issues that would impact polling. Either the BT adaptor has an issue, or its drivers need to be reinstalled
Damn, you caught me, I never got that achievement(
I figured it out, I'll return the Bluetooth adapter to the store and look for a new one.
And if it's not a secret, I'm wondering how to get the "Jackpot" and "Show Me Your Motivation" achievements.
They need to be added to steam, more info on them later
i have no idea how i got it but i got "show me your motivation" as soon as booted dsx if thats any help
ah theres a guide on steam about it and i also just realised this is a day old support thread 💀
Hi!
I just inserted a new Bluetooth adapter, it just came in.
It generally has 650-700 Hz and outputs a polling frequency greater than through a wire.Over a 250 hz wire.
So it was the adapter. Everything is fine with the sound now, thanks for helping.
And here's another question about achieving "Show Me Your Motivation": I do everything according to the guide – 3 quick clicks on the triangle, wait for a pause and click 4 times on the triangle, but it doesn't work.
