Have you tried restarting your Steam client ?
yes, and restarted the computer, yesterday the program worked fine
THANK YOU for your answer, do you know how else to solve this issue?
Unfortunately not, will need to have Pali take a look at your log file before having a real clue
But you may want to do some sanity checks so to speak :
- Perform a Verify Files pass in DSX's Steam properties (something might have gone wrong with your update)
- If it doesn't solve it, consider uninstalling (verifying all files got deleted) and reinstalling DSX (in which case you may want to backup your profiles and app settings should you not be using Steam Cloud sync)
Have you ever in the past tried to run the app as admin?
yes, I already did that and also reinstalled
You want to not run DSX as admin
Do not do that
Check the DSX.exe properties, Compatibility tab and make sure all is default and not enabled to run as admin
installed as before, doesn't help(
Sorry, my English is a bit bad, I'm trying with a translator, I'm from Ukraine
Regarding not running the program as administrator - I understood, and set everything to default
Hm good question then

Maybe you have a zealous antivirus
When I restarted my PC, a notification popped up that Windows Defender was blocking something, but it was also turned off.
Try setting an exception for the whole DSX install folder if you can
And verify files again then try launching
We can not read any of that unfortunately
This is Windows Defender, settings - all checkmarks are disabled
So it should not interfere now if you Verify files in Steam
Yeah but these are special protections features iirc
The typical scanning and blocking can happen still
Please give this a shot
Щиро дякую за додаткові поради, а де я можу звернутися, щоб додатково його вимкнути?
sorry
Thank you very much for the additional advice, but where can I go to disable it further?
All you would need is to add DSX's install folder to its exceptions, don't remember off the top of my head where this is located
Oh, then I'm afraid I'm entirely out of ideas

Hopefully Pali has an epiphany when he'll have time to be looking at your logs
I apologize for not being able to provide you with a solution yet
Let's have hope, thank you for trying to help.
why does it give such an error if it is turned off
On the face of it, I guess it's simply not really off
Maybe you could try adding the Main_v3_Beta subfolder in the exceptions as well as the main DSX.exe from that subfolder (the one you have added there is DSX's launcher)
Although Defender should apply the exception recursively when adding a folder to the exceptions list
That page seems to be about unsigned software, shouldn't apply here as both DSX and VirtualPad are duly signed
HidHide as well for that matter
The smart program control element just needed to be turned off, I found it, thank you) the program finally worked!!!
By "the program" you mean DSX I suppose ?
thank you for your support all this time)
Enjoy !
