do i have to keep dsx opened at all time for the hatpic feedback to work?

i can use adaptive triggers even if i close the app

and it works everytime

For DSX generated Haptics, yes

Same goes for DSX generated Adaptive Triggers

For native Haptics and Adaptive Triggers tho, if you're using native mode, you don't need to keep DSX running

Except they'd go away the moment any software tries to send data to the controller

No it's just that the effects are applied, and stay applied until anything tells the controller to apply another one

i was playing a yakuza game and this 'Very soft' mode was working just fine and its still working even if i'm not running dsx

I suppose the game is only taking Dualsense inputs and doesn't make use of anything else

Aka it only needs the Dualsense to be in read-only mode so to speak

I realize im about to sound like an idiot, but i can't find where to activate the trigger presets i made

it might just be right on my face, but i cant find it lol

Do i have to have a game open for it to work? I was familiarized with the old version of the APP, first time trying to use V3

Well nevermind, cuz apparently my dulsense wasn't propperly connected oopsies
