#USE DSX WITHOUT WIFI

I move my PC to play on the living room TV, but the problem is I don't have Wi-Fi there, and the DSX verification with Steam never happens and gives an error. What solution do you suggest for using DSX without Wi-Fi? Or should I get a refund and play with the free DSX version?

As things are for now, you could launch it in Steam's offline mode within a 28 days period after the last online Ownership verification check it did

#

Unfortunately, it won't be until the next update that you will be able to launch it without Steam but during that same 28 days period until it needs another online ownership check (that will be for DSX+ owners)

#

So my advice would be to try doing a phone connection sharing for that DSX launch if you want a quick & easy way until that update

You could just share your phone connection over USB but it's up to you 🙂 Sorry this update isn't out yet, needs some more testing before releasing it

You need to use Steam in offline mode

(It says "offline" in Spanish below, just in case)

#

but I also did it in "Offline Mode"

#

It gets stuck on "Verifying DSX ownership with Steam servers..."

I've set Steam to English to show you exactly how it appears to me.

#

As you'll see, there are two "versions": the first is when you first enter Steam without Wi-Fi, the second is "offline mode".

Of course, that's the distinction we just mentioned

So normally, if you do a successful DSX launch online then do another attempt in actual Offline Mode (not No Connection), it should work

#

In between those two scenarios, you tried a No Connection DSX launch

#

Anyways, just try an online DSX launch using your phone to share its connection over USB

#

Then "close DSX" from Steam (this will only close the DSX launcher, main app will keep running)

Share the app logs as well.
