#Vibration Issues.

I've been having issues trying to test the vibration on my controller, and it no longer works on my Epic games after installing DSX.

Can someone please help?

#

Vibration and Haptics work without DSX on Battlefield 6 for some odd reason.

#

But I can't get it to work on Rocket League or even the GamePad Tester. Not sure what I did wrong.

For testing your physical Dualsense, rather use https://ds.daidr.me instead, gamepad tester is weird with Dualsense

#

As for your games, I suppose it depends what emulation mode you have set in DSX, otherwise, if using DSX Native mode (no emulation), nothing should be changed

Dsx v2 is tagged, u sure? dsxSponge

If I'm not mistaken, I believe vibration was working on GamePad Tester before I installed DSX, but let me check.

He doubts you're using DSX v2

lost moat

v2 is legacy

gritty sentinel
#

Most likely (and hopefully) you're using v3.1.5.3 (current one)

warm nebula

I currently have it off because I want to make sure Rocket League works with vibration.

Can you please answer/confirm what we just talked about?

warm nebula

This is it right?

lost moat
#

Launch it

warm nebula
#

ok

lost moat

But it says Beta so it's v3

warm nebula

Oh I'm sorry

#

I wasn't aware

Nevermind that

#

That website is poo poo for DS

lost moat
#

Yeah not major but misleading

i'll test out rocket league and see which modes vibration works in

After all this time they still don't show the DS properly? Sad

warm nebula
#

The 1st few options were the ones I saw as far as tagged, I didn't know there were others. I'm sorry.

lost moat

Is that PID the Edge?

warm nebula
#

I have the regular Dualsense

cobalt merlin
#

PC Gaming Wiki shows no rumble support, idk if that means for all playstation controllers or just dualsense

#

i would guess if you put DSX in Xbox Emulation mode you'll get rumble, idk about the others

warm nebula
cobalt merlin
#

i'll test them when it's done downloading peepant

gritty sentinel
#

For me (on Epic) RL never had Dualsense support at all

#

I need to use Xbox emulation

especially dualsense cuz of haptics

gritty sentinel

Cuz of devs

warm nebula
#

It works beautifully on Battlefield 6 without DSX running.

lost moat

Nothing new, nothing any of us can do about it

warm nebula
#

Ok, wow thank you so much.

#

The DualSense Tester is exactly what I was looking for.

#

I was going insane for like 3 days trying to figure this out.

Ok, so what about which Rocket League settings should I use for Vibration?

gritty sentinel
#

Can't go wrong with Xbox emulation

cobalt merlin
warm nebula
#

Since I now know it's not natively supported.

#

Okay Bet.

#

Lemme try it

cobalt merlin
#

and in the Haptics | Rumble tab have it set to rumble mode

warm nebula
#

ok

cobalt merlin
#

hmm i'm not gettin any rumble in DS4 mode sadge so prob xbox mode

#

ya it works in xbox mode

#

@warm nebula

warm nebula
#

Yeah it works amazingly well.

#

I also wanted to add

cobalt merlin
warm nebula
#

Bluetooth works too

cobalt merlin
#

ya!

warm nebula
#

In BT Mode

#

Just change the Mode to Sound Waves

cobalt merlin
#

for future cases you can check a game's page on the PC Gaming Wiki, it will usually tell you how the game handles playstation controllers

warm nebula
#

I'm trying out the different waves currently to see which one I like best.

warm nebula
#

What's the link to that btw?

But note that they don't always have up to date informations as this is a community project

#

And unfortunately, their controller support section isn't the most accurate thing when it's even filled with anything

Ok thanks, also great knowledge. Thanks so much!
