Can't add control key as mapping

You can by using the second Keyboard mapping tab (the one with two kb icons)

It's a legacy limitation (in the single icon tab) that doesn't allow for modifier keys to be used there

thanks for your reply, but it seems don't allow only control keys, inclues only single Alt etc.

Even by selecting Ctrl in the first drop down ? (not clicking any modifier key in the upper row)

Nothing to be sorry about, this "special" type of single mapping using modifier keys should not be that complicated for the user to have set and working

I apologize for that, we know it needs improving but we've been holding on for other features to redo these so this is all snowballing and can lead to such tickets 🙂
