Controller randomly disconnecting and reconnecting

So I dont think this is really a software issue, since when Im in passthrough mode this still happens, but when im playing a game (for example spiderman), and my controller is physically connected, it will randomly disconnect and reconnect, in this time I cant use my controller to use my character and the keyboard keybinds will return, sometime it only happens for a second, other times it happens in the middle of a fight for a minute, and it disrupts my gameplay majorly, any idea why this is happening and how I can fix it?

The only thing i can think of is that it has low battery and connected via BT

when im using bluetooth its fine, but when connecting with a usb c cable it has this issue

Then most likely the cable is bad

Or the port on the controller is bad

i dont think the cable is the issue, its worked fine for other games and i tried another one to no avail

is there anything i can do about the port

Maybe start trying with some contact cleaner or something ?
