Native & Dualsense Emu doesn't work properly

Thanks for the exhaustive report and the Logs 🙂

Would you mind using https://www.joypad.ai for testing Dualsense (emulated and native ideally, but don't bother just yet with your other PC if it's a hassle) ?
Also, please just refresh the website page after switching to an emulation mode or it will keep its hook on the native controller regardless of whether HidHide is hiding the physical one properly

As for your HidHide settings, they seem correct but you'd want to have a look at them when any emulation is enabled :

• its role is to hide your physical device, yes
• but it's only supposed to do so when emulating so it's normal it won't show your controller in the list when in Native mode

Hmm, that's intriguing.. What if you set Dualsense emulation before running the game ? It should work normally (in your video, it must still be expecting the physical controller it hooked to but won't react to the virtual one)

Websites and game not reacting to Native mode when you get back to it even after launching them again is the part I'm totally clueless about

i think detected but as generic controller(checked on gamepad tester), not dual sense. the game only works with xbox and dual sense(other than this doesnt work even ds4), so became like that

If there is one to fix, yeah, so do I but I'm not sure there is one in DSX itself

DSX should always be the first one running with controller connected to it before games

So that HidHide takes affect

So close game/browser

Start dsx and connect controller

Then start game or test with browser

I guess Fix Double Input button should also make it work after unsuccessfully switching emulations in game/browser

It's when going back to Native that things don't make sense to me

Browser should detect it and name it properly again at least (game not necessarily since many games have bad support for hot plugging if at all)

ah, thx. follow this much faster then restart dsx like pali said for HidHide takes effects. but the emu still broke.

This is just a workaround feature tho (which won't always solve it)

What Pali wrote is the preferred way of doing things really

Oh and he didn't say to restart DSX, just restarting games/browser
