I tried to enable the LED in my DualShock 4 controller via DSX, but it doesn't work.

Gonna be needing a bit more context than that 😉

Well,, on DS4Windows the LED works fine, but on DSX it doesn't

devout spade

Still won't help

#

Need context

#

Controller has LED on by default natively so you likely have a profile in DSX that turns it off for starters

How do i turn it back on?

devout spade
#

How would I know what you have currently set if you only ask without telling ?

#

I need contextual information

I did set the LED mode to one color, set the brightness to 100% and it still doesn't work. I have enabled Xbox 360 emulation.

Is there any software like Signal RGB running by any chance ?

#

That or Steam Input & desktop layout

violet hill
#

None of that

devout spade
#

Well, it's Logs gathering time I guess

#

Which DSX version are you on btw ?

#

You tagged two so shrug

What about your DS4 ? Is it a v1 or a v2 ?

#

(Can't repro on my v2, works just as expected)

#

Hence needing your DSX logs to escalate the issue with tangible elements to go through

violet hill
#

I have v1

It's ok 🙂 Just think of using the Compress logs for sharing button in the DSX Logs tab once you're back on it. 🤞 there'll be something for Pali to figure out in these

violet hill
#

Nothing useful in the logs

devout spade
#

Please share them anyway, that's for Pali to determine

violet hill
#

For some reason the "Compress logs" button doesn't open the save dialog

#

I don't have any Windows mods

devout spade
#

Well all the more reasons to share logs then imo

#

Just gather them all in a zip manually

Thanks 🤞

I figured it out with my brother: my controller is from China and faked to look like DualShock 4. So that's why i have problems with it.
