#Extremely High Deadzone with Dualsense Emulation
25 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Step 1: Logged into COD (using Steam) and everything works excepts for feeling like it is a really high deadzone. COD settings have not changed since before my issue started. Controller is already overclocked using Hidusbf.
Enable steam input? Why?
sorry, i was going to go through everything ive tried to give the whole picture. If i disable, it does not recognize controller
Have you tried disable it and use Xbox emulation instead
ill give it a shot.
opened and it does allow me to use the controller. It is hard to explain but movements do not feel precise if that makes sense.
id be happy to share my screen if that helps
Maybe it's the overclocking that's causing the issue. It's a normal Dualsense? Or edge?
edge. ive tried both (testing at 1000 and 8000 polling rate).
I logged on a few days ago and the game felt different. Almsot like steam had an update that screwed with dual sense edge
And in the edge profile, internal memory have you changed any sensitivity curves?
Yeah there has been a steam update
i reset profile multiple times to test & no noticable difference.
I was not using DSX for awhile and i had no issues. Since the issues arose, i started using DSX again to hope it would take priority over steam settings
Have you tried FN and triangle on controller to set to default to rule out that
yes
honestly, it feels good at the moment after starting the app up with XBOX emulation then switching to dualsense emulation after the game is running with both default and profile 1
I'm sorry I couldn't help any further if I think of anything I will post here
no i appreciate your help. Ill post temporary solution in case anyone else has the issue. I am thinking it is a steam issue
Check the deadzone settings as you can adjust that I guess
Temp Fix: Open DSX first and use xbox emulation. Open game ( COD in this case).,
Once game is running, switch to dualsense emulation.
in steam or DSX??
DSX
if it is a steam issue, i am thinking it is best to have it on simple deadzone (axial) instead of passthrough. Passsthrough may be kicking it to steam then steam is screwing it up
