#Experiencing Double Input | Paddles not working on ANY emulation device (DSX v3) | Dualsense Edge

DSX Version: 3.0
Controller: DualSense Edge
Connection: USB 3.1 Port (Motherboard)
Emulation Type: I tried all, and DS Edge paddles do not work on any of them (DSX v3 Only) | Paddles work on only the DualShock 4 Emulation type on DSX v2 (Steam)

On DSX v3 Beta, if I try to emulate an Xbox 360 Controller on the game I want to play (Fortnite), it detects 2 inputs; the Dualsense Edge and Xbox, causing the game to lag out and the inputs to constantly swap back and forth. I have HidHide turned on in the settings and have reinstalled the drivers for it many times, however the same issue persists. I have provided a screenshot of my HidHide page. However if I emulate an Xbox 360 Controller on DSX 2.4.2, I don't get any double input.

To fix this for me, I have to go back to DSX Version 2.4.2 and emulate a DualShock 4, then my paddles work. However there is an issue with this method because then I cannot use my share button on my DS Edge, any inputs I make with it do no register, especially on Fortnite. I can not bind anything to it and can't use it at all. I have attached a screenshot of this as well. Another alternative to this would be to emulate an Xbox 360 controller and my share button would work, but then I am unable to use my touchpad. I am unsure if this is an issue with DSX or with Fortnite.

(DSX v3 Beta) My DS Edge paddles do not work on ANY of the Emulation types, including native mode. Additionally, any input that I remap on the DS Edge does not actually work, nothing happens when I test it in-game, and the turbo feature does not work for me either.

To conclude, I basically just want a way where every single button on my DS Edge works, especially the paddles, touchpad, and share button on Fortnite on PC.
If you need anymore info or have any questions feel free to ping me and discuss below. Thank you.

Things to try for now until I can look into this:

Make sure your on the default internal profile by pressing left or right FN + Triangle

Reset Action Profile in Controller Page when going to the actions section.

For double input, I recommend the first thing your controller sees is DSX so that it’s able to hide the physical controller without issues. Hiding only works when you have either Xbox, DS4, or DS Emulation active.

Any remapping will not work if you have Native Mode selected as there’s nothing to send the output to.

Native mode remapping will only work when DSX is able to modify the internal profile system built into the DS Edge just like how the PS5 does it which is coming soon in the DS Edge/PSVR 2 Page

Have you connected your edge to a PS5 before?

However straight out of the box, I set it up in DSX before it ever touched my PS5

Well it seems like you must’ve modified one of the internal Profiles

#

PS5 still does some tinkering with the profiles when connected so not sure if a bug or not from the Edge/PS5

#

You can always reset the controller too

#

From the back with a pin

#

Holding for 10 seconds or so

#

See if that fixes The share button
