4 is easier for me to manipulate than 4.5. Im going to see if that changes with vibe transfer. I don't think im that good with scripting but I always got better results in 4.

Took me a while to get the hang of 4.5 but now I feel like it’s better than 4. The amount of manipulation possible in 4.5 is way higher with the right combinations. I was able to get some pretty stellar stuff even without vibes and so far slapping some vibes into said set ups has had some awesome results @.@

4.5 full at least. The curated 4.5 was… I don’t even know what to call it, it felt like a mess lmao

The skill ceiling and skill floor are both higher

It felt easier to get a satisfactory image out of v4 but 4.5 can get more fine manipulation than 4 could

Vibe transfer for 4.5 feels different too

There are images that work better as vibes that didn't before, and some images that make the image worse when they didn't before

-# and none of these iterations of models or vibe transfer can nail down an artists style that I've been trying for years

4.5 vibe also can't get me a particular animal that was only possible to vaguely get with v3's vibe transfer, haven't tested with v4

One thing I have noticed is that the tag “Ai-generated” with strength variance tends to make an image look better more often than not on 4.5. Which is funny because it was the opposite before. (At least for what I’m trying to do)

I love what you did with my vibe mix there. Your version with that negative vibe instead of the one I was using looks a lot better/equally good in its own way in every single prompt I tested so far. I shelved that vibe mix for a while now, but you got me interested in going back to it. I tried replacing all the vibes in it because it has spicy inputs that give stuff like this unprompted lol, but I haven’t had much luck doing so without messing up the style so far. I also wanted to make a version without the sepia filter/lighting but no luck so far either.

Here’s a few source images for you to mess around with if you want. I used the first three in my most recent vibe mix in vibe-sharing and the red hair girl in some of my other ones too. The first one I only use as a negative set to at most -0.2 strength. Seems to make colors pop or desaturate an image when paired with other vibes. The second image gives a red lighting and sometimes more fine details to surfaces and backgrounds. The last two images have these three vibes plus your spaceship one except the one on the left has the red robot and negative vibe disabled and the one on the right enabled.

thanks, i've figured out how to frame scenes better and add dialogue, but i wont lie the speech bubbles have been VERY testy. Ive been mostly using inpainting to add them if they weren't generated at first, but it either works instantly or refuses to, i swear there's no in between

though once it gets in there editing the text if need be is (usually) as easy as inpainting the inside of the bubble and typing the text you want

Nice. I haven’t dabbled with sketch styles much in v4.5 full. I do like combining sushi yuusha toro, no+bi= as artist tags for sketch styles, haven’t found any other favorite sketch artist styles yet. I’m sure everyone (or at least I do) feels the same way about debating how many images to post.

I don't use artist tags very often because the artists I know don't really do anything unfortunately, and I don't use vibes because they've rarely done me any good. Everything is purely prompt trial and error.

im having a laugh. i tried using the bluey vibe unaltered with the same prompts otherwise and using any sort of "muscles" tags turns her into a wide short stack

that being said... altering said vibe strength values of the bluey vibe and/or mixing in some of my own has had interesting results

this is Kling ai 2.1, its web based. the new start and end frame system does make it work with non 3d images now (it flat out didnt work before) but its still a bit of luck if you get it to work or not

Hey, just curious, since furry stuff seems to be vastly less well discussed than anime stuff -- has anyone anywhere compiled a list of furry artist names that work (as a tag, "artist:xxxxx") in 4.5? A lot of names worked in 4.0 that no longer work in 4.5, and I'm curious if anyone has compiled a list of valid names. I've found a few by trying myself, but many of ones that worked in 4.0 do not work at all in 4.5. Most names I try, even people who have drawnthousands of things, just provide random results as if no tag was used. Presently, this is the only way to control character reference art, so it's more useful than ever.

Naturally, Japanese ones work the most reliably, but I got:

okay finally got as chance to really see what i could do with this. so for starters, i used the new character ref tool with this old render of Krystal to get a (mostly) consistent look

i gen'd these 8 images:

thanks to the character reference tool in novelai for character and render style consistency, the start/end frame system in kling 2.1, and photoshops video editor i was able to generate 8 ten second clips using the eight gen'd images and then piece them together for a classic waifu showing off experience. the background and environment shes moving through is wildly inconsistent

Yeah as of right now its just a "give it two pics and say what happens in the vid" and ittl come up with what goes on between them. Kling (and most ai vid gens, ive noticed) every once in a while will add a nice feature like this but then instead of adding more features to a model they will shove out new models that can only do basic stuff. They just released a 2.5 model out of nowhere recently, cool and all but now we're back to only using simngle images and watching them explode with not real end guidance

I think my problem with AI video is that it simultaniously has too much movement and not enough movement.

Like, it always makes characters move around with big, exaggerated movements, as if they AI is showing off, but at the same time subtle realistic movements like characters twitching or stumbling aren't there whatsoever. Everything is way too smooth.

I made this one for a kamen rider and super sentai inspired story where the rangers call upon powers from several different folktale heroes and monsters. This one was originally a General and minion of the big bad but turned on him after being defeated by the extra ranger that uses the power of the black dragon tyrant fable. Long story short they end getting “close” because of their new partner ship and eventually end getting together.

Kling 3.0 is a little insane. Its a bit more limited in movement options than Grok, but when you get something that works its phenomenal and the consistency between camera cuts is near perfect. (image gen'd by novelai)

That being said if the motions you ask for are too complicated or you ask it to mess with angles to extreme it breaks down and gets really stiff. Kling and Grok seem to be at opposite ends, Grok has really smooth motion and can do complicated movements (and has great native audio) but character consistency is terrible especially with camera cutting. Kling has great consistency even through camera cutting but the motion can sometimes be a little stiff and the native audio sucks
