I have such a hard time avoiding / chaffing missiles at high alt, so when I start, I get to M1.0, climb at 40deg to 25-30k ft, fly in, launch 4-5 120s at 20-25 miles range, usually get a hit or two, start chaffing and turn a split S to go cold. Then turn back in on the deck to try and get another shot or two off.

the issue is that balance can be weird, I played that entire game in the mig-21 bison while fighting everything from m2k to gripen
which sucked ass cause the mig-21 cant take a bfm fight for shit with either of those
but it is hugely fun to essentially play FC3 quality simulations (or even better) for a huge huge variety of aircraft
