Dense Expansion has no meaningful identity as a spell. The repeating augment glyph added to Emblem of Formation gives it an Arcanum cost and produces "splash spaical resources" in addition to Emblem of Formation being acquired much earlier in gameplay. I think something needs to be added to Dense Expansion to make it a more attractive option.

I may be wrong, but I think I acquired Emblem of formation way later than Dense Expansion (I even considered Emblem of formation very powerful but probably optional, as is the Repeating glyph).
Although, like some other spells already have, it would be interesting to have an upgrade that unlocks a new property of Dense expansion once it becomes obsolete.
