So I can get the extension to pop up for unstakes transfers stakes normal everyday operations work fine

I was gonna just unstake because redelagate is broken but I'd honestly rather not lol

Just whenever I redelegate wether it's redelegate all or redelegate individually when I press the white redelegate button I see the button change colour to grey and says processing and then the white redelegate button reappears and no extension pops up, I have also tried waiting 10 mins after pressing to see if there is a delay

It's non functional

I have also tried to manually crank gas up to the max it's not going through

Also have used multiple diff geo locations to rule out

I have also tested on both namadillo dashboards by @toxic violet and Heliax both have the same issue

How many validators are you trying to act on? If you select only a couple, for example, do you see the same behavior?

I have two validators I need to redelegate from

I have tried doing them individually one by one and redelagating to one validator etc

I have also tried doing a full redelagation to see if that option works

Either way the above issue occurs button does not work even if gas is maxed to highest gas

I've redelegated before when brave was working so I'm guessing something broke recently

this is not a 5elements issue, so not really fair to expect hellofriend to solve it..

please provide some screenshots of what you are seeing, and try another browser to see if it

Yep, but as @last mist suggested a bit more context could help. Also, by design Namadillo does not allow redelegating to validators that are inactive or in a jailed state. All the tests I ran on my side trigger an extension popup asking to approve the transaction; that does not happen on your side, if I understood correctly. A few screenshots would be helpful.

For further comparison, could you tell me which browser version and which Namada Keychain version you are using?

And @last mist Yeah I've actually been trying to redelegate all the nam from the sunsetting validators to a single validator. @toxic violet to support him for all his hard work as he helped solve my namadillo problem is which nobody else had a solution for bar him.

I want to support him primarily as reward for all his help getting me on track in the ecosystem he has my loyalty for sure.

I absolutely do not expect him to do anything he does not want to do so let's cast that narrative aside lol

Ok keychain version is 0.8.1 on Firefox and on brave/chrome it is 0.9.0

The issue is persistent across multiple versions of keychain/browsers

I can also see the last update time was on 22nd Jan by heliax which was yesterday which is exactly when this bug began as I opened the ticket on the 22nd

Ok so this video is a live fire example of the broken redelegate which has been tested on 3 fully updated different browsers (brave, Firefox, chrome) on the latest versionsof namadillo above that says was updated on Jan 27 by heliax

Ok @last mist @toxic violet I've now tried on chrome and the above videos problem is happening on all 3 browser versions and those versions of keychain

I have also uncovered another entirely separate bug that also occurs on all 3 browsers and latest keychains

When you try to unbond it won't let you paste the amount without auto erasing it you have to do it one number at a time video for context coming

You can work around it by putting in one number at a time but you can't do 0.1s because namadillo won't let you

These weird things all began yesterday after the 22nd Jan update

Before yesterday everything was fine

FYI lads I unbonded the nam from the validators gonna have to wait 14 days and lose small yield no point risking a 5%-10% slash if validator misbehaves or whatever because redelegate is broken

You can bypass if you have the bug (anyone reading) typing numbers one by one to bypass the unbonding bug displayed above

Hopefully we will have all this ironed out and fixed eventually.

Both bugs / issues happening on 3 diff browsers latest keychain and on 5 elements namadillo and heliax namadillo

Mmmh ok, found the cause of this, it should be easy to fix.
Regarding the redelegate bug, I still can’t reproduce it but the fact that it’s always tied to the popup makes me think the cause is similar to whatever leads to the white/blank popup.

Fixed this; now the unstake panel doesn’t take you back to page 1 on every input.
Regarding your redelegate UI issue, the only way it occurs is when you don’t have enough balance to pay the transaction fees. That’s consistent with the fact that you ran into it across different browser/namadillo/keychain versions. Redelegating from/to many validators can result in significantly higher fees, so a small oversight in the available balance may have caused the problem here.

We also have a fix for this https://github.com/namada-net/namada-interface/issues/2360 but it looks like nobody is maintaining it anymore. On standby.

1000 nam is not enough? I turned gas above high setting what is the setting you are using for gas

😄 I’m sure they’re sufficient. Try repeating the procedure with the inspector panel open, as I did in the video, and send screenshots of what the console logs.
