ok so basically, if you want to buy nam off a dex, you can buy it at osmosis using your keplr wallet.

the nam you buy on osmosis is bridged nam, not native

to withdraw you nam you got off osmosis, use namadillo to ibc the tokens to namada native

you can ibc them into the shielded section of namada directly, or the transparent section if you prefer

ibc is basically cosmos terminology for bridging more or less 🙂

your namada address you can send the tokens to natively you get by installing the namada keychain where you generate a namada address with a seed phrase much like you do with mm on eth

Right now the main benefit is to store funds in the shielded pool, so that when you are ready to spend them, you can use shielded addresses and be much more private
