AoS Seraphon rumors

First is this new but unverified, does line up with other rumors

Boole however is very trusted and reliable

Booles is just one model btw, Skink Wizard riding a Coatl

Likely will look more like this than some of the other designs from Fantasy/Total War

Seraphon are almost guaranteed to be getting endless spells so Booles rumor is not all they are getting, its also a massive monster model very unlikely its a single model and more likely to be a small wave 2 like what usually happens after a massive update the last edition

Yeah, but they do still have some models that are older than most. And between Kroak, Slann, the Carnosaur, it's not like Seraphon are hurting for big flashy centerpiece models

Carnosaur is barely a centerpiece at this point especially for AoS

Slann looks amazing also but also not a massive model

Last editions was basically all refreshes, this edition it is likely they would also finally get SOMETHING new

Yah, and while new stuff is good, I'm always glaring at GW to update old models. They have the technology, they have the talent, but every year they keep selling the same dryads, chaos bikers, and skinks

Only Skinks are missing from this rumor and even they dont look THAT bad compared to old VS new Saurus

Guard and Old Blood are the only truly terrible old minis they have left

Yeah, the skinks hold up well, as do things like the stegadon, the terradon riders, etc.

But the Guard really need the new treatment

Normally thats what they do, Seraphon only technically got new stuff because they replaced knights instead of updating them

And Boole also doesnt say anything about only getting that

Last edition Seraphon also got no big monsters in the update so it would make sense to get one this time

well, they got the new skink starseer and the new skink raptor riders as well

Starseer isnt new, and Raptadons are part of Knights getting replaced by 2 units, Aggrodons took the visuals, Raptadons took the Gameplay

So thats why they are only kind of new units and not like new new

I mean they really are both Knights replacements, Knights were a more fast light cav (because old Saurus were not accurate to what they should have been and were far less elite) so the idea became Aggrodons who are elite like Saurus Cav should be, but gameplay wise Raptadons work more like how Knights did. So neither are like really a new unit?

Both get like half credit so together its like 1 brand new unit I guess lol

I see it as much more binary.
saurus knights - > aggradon. Yes they changed in squad size.
skink raptors - > new kit, they didn't exist as a datasheet before. The fact their squad size is similar to old saurus knights isn't relevant, because it's not a saurus riding them

As a Seraphon player (my main army in AoS), I’d love to see updates for:

• Skinks
• Saurus Guards
• Bastiladon (the kit is far below current standards)

And something new:

• A new character/hero on a large monster
