Just starting to think about what I want to bring to Adepticon this spring and this is the first list I've come up with.

Curious to hear literally any opinions I can get on it. I've never been to Adepticon either, so I don't really know what to expect.

The Adepticon rules include a set of special Warlord Traits and Relics armies can access. Mine include:

  • Technophile, giving my Iron Father Battlesmith (+1) and letting me take 2 relics instead of the usual 1.
  • Phase Shield, a relic giving the bearer and their unit an AV12 Void Shield that repairs on a 4+ in the Recovery Phase.
  • Personal Teleporter, a relic giving the bearer and their unit the Deep Strike ability and a special Assault Phase Reaction to go back into Deep Strike Reserves.

  • Saturnine Dreadnought (Inversion, Grav, Incinerators)
  • 6 Castellax (Darkfire, Power Blades)

  • Deredeo (Arachnus, Boreas, Bolters)

It's 3k on the dot.

General idea is four groups: 2 consist of thralls led by a priest and a Deredeo, 1 group is the Iron Father, Castellax, and Saturnine, and then the Arcuitor, Inductii, and Immortals are all flexible with DS and Infiltrate.

Inductii ideally drop onto a backfield objective and use Phosphex on whatever's camping. Immortals ideally drop into the mid-board and the Castellax group comes in behind them. Overcharge Reactors gets used on Castellax or Dreads as needed. MoS and Comptroller Priests make things score extra Objective points.

Haven't played it at all yet.

Looks very cool. Being able to chuck deepstrike on a random unit seems insanely strong lol.

I'd consider master sergeant instead of combat vets in the immortals.

Looks like a really cool list, I might borrow some of it for inspo for a list I've been working on

Yeah DS on [whatever] is wild.

I might swap the Siege Breaker for a Master of Descent but he'd need a home.

That's either Destroyers or Thallax for me and either way I'll need to move a bunch of stuff around.

There are other Warlord Traits like giving a guy +1T and Eternal Warrior 1. That seems ridiculous on the IF. But I'm not super interested in that kinda game.
