Updating my EC list to 3rd, hows this look? I don’t hold a lot of faith in Sunkillers tbh, but 10 of them might do something. 2 Laser Destroyers too, since you can’t spell Laser without Laer! Not sure if something else would fit this list/fit EC better since our Rite is all about melee so I might not be leaning into that enough. Anyway lemme know what you think and feel free to make any suggestions

Yea, those sun killers are a massive point sink, and honestly I'd pull them and toss is some stuff that cause statuses. Kokophani are great for stunning, rotor cannons are good for suppression, and flamers for panic. I like to run each in small units which is the best bang for your buck as you dont need to cause much, or in the case of flamers, any damage to cause status checks and getting rid of them is annoying and requires resources

Yes, statuses can stop scoring, make troops strike slower in combat, make them run, shoot worse, lock them in place.. a ton!

Suppress and stun even only need to hit never mind wound, to have a chance to proc a status. Stick a havoc launcher on your rhinos 👀

Has anyone used veteran assault squads? I know the Palatine are more deadly, but i was thinking vets with shields and heavier hitting weapons.

They're also not cheap. Might as well commit to being expensive and go for a jump pack praetorian command squad

Ive got the Palatine blades but they usually roll with lucius in a land raider. Eidolon gets a praetorian command squad.
I was planning another Palatine with jump packs later, but just wanting to do a vet assault squad for my loyalists.

Or at least a mk2 assault squad for loyalists. I just love their vibe. Old gear, shields.. The old loyalist warriors of the legions showing everyone how its done.
So if they'd be best built as a command, I can do that.
