Hello, I'm trying to figure out for 1 if this is legal, and secondly peoples thoughts on it. I'm currently looking at the Ironfire Cohort and thinking it can probably go. I want to bring the rapiers but I'm not the biggest fan of the Aruitor. I currently own 2 Scorpius's so maybe thats what I slot in. Anyways thanks for any tips.

I don’t have the new libers or book yet, but, from the battle reports I’ve seen, Im finding that terminators are amazing with their combi bolters and vanguard rules. Whilst you have tacticals for holding objectives, you don’t have a much in the way of your own hammer units for sweeping the enemy off of theirs. Yes, you have incredible firepower (very thematic) but I’d consider swapping one of the Kratos for more terminators if you can:)

Also, the phospex- if its still short range + direct fire its still not great to use. At least take 2 units of 2 rapiers somehow to at least get actual board coverage if you are still set on them.

That x10 man squad isn't doing much for you. Could go x3 of 15 to free up some points

footslogging is for 15-20 man units, not a x10 man tac squad- which should have a rhino.

thats for holding back objectives, Im sure it will be fine without one but I'll see after some games

but going 3x 15 is easy enough

This list looks more competitive, in that it can handle a range of enemies. Two land raiders, a Kratos, and a venator covers anti tank. Two squads of five terminators, a unit of seven tyrants, and all the characters cover anti personnel/sweeping objectives. The tacticals will hold your own objectives. This will totally work:) less narrative than your previous list, but more resilient

x10 tac marines are not durable, even in back line. I think it should be x15 or at least have a rhino for LOS blocking to keep them alive.
