Why a mortificator without a friend? Don't understand your plain centurion either tbh

Get vexillas on your infantry, and maybe cut some upgrades for a rhino for your tacs tho I recognize this runs counter to your desire for min model count

The centurion with Tartaros armor was because I wanted to use up some points on a single mode to cut down work and I love the armor. As for the mortifactor it was because I was told people wouldn’t want to play with me if I ran two dreadnoughts cus they were powerful and what not

I'd look at your hqs and see what other consul options suit you and your game plan better. That tart centurion
especially doesn't do anything for you, and a mortificator without a dreadnought friend is pointless

Maybe look at a gorgon armoured champion to wander round with your breachers, and a master of signals or armistos to tuck into one of your hss squads

Drop a bunch of these upgrades.

• armistos shotgun
• the whole optae
• techmarine master crafted bolter
• tac squad plasma pistol, melta bombs
• rhino heavy bolter, blessed autosimulacra, hunter killer

Use those points to get the gorgon champ and/or add the following upgrades:

• vexillas on tacs & breachers
• melta guns instead of flamers on the breachers
• cognis signum on the techmarine
• artificer armour on the sergeants

Also give the armistos a missile launcher to shoot with the missile launcher squad

I get the shotgun, optae, tech marine master bolter as well as perhaps the plasma pistol but I’m not entirely sure why you’d want to remove the heavy bolter and or hunter killer? Is the rhino not also capable of being able to support the tactical squad with the heavy bolter? Like an IFV

The melta bombs won't do anything, it's one attack. Dodge it, at 1000 points your missiles and deredeo should deal with most tank threats

Btw when you say Vexillas is it the “Legion Vexilla” optional wargear or is that like a unit?

Your armistos has to shoot the same target as the rest of the squad he's joined. Makes sense to use the same gun, you don't want varying effectiveness

Ah okay, is it a matter of being able to pick between the heavy bolter or missile squad or is the unit strictly better in the missile squad then the heavy bolter squad?

So I removed and added what you suggested and I’m left with 7 points, so I’ll just add the twin linked bolter to the rhino since I don’t really have anything else to spend it on and it couldn’t hurt
