  • heard that the Fellblade and Glaive are shifting to plastic (Falchion disappeared off the webstore in the last few days)

Back again with more waffling about some spicy rumours, this time we focus on Space Wolves, Horus Heresy and some timeline releases, give me the BIG TANKS!

I think this is coming the summer of 2025. Been hearing about this for months.

Yeah, cropped up here.

  • Superheavy plastics (TANKS) in 2025.

This one is pretty likely to occur as they have been missing from the shop for a while now

No glaive on the web site, either. The fellblade is still there but is "temporarily out of stock".

On the topic of removed models, the rapiers are gone as well

Speculation on the price? It’s got to be close, if not more that new knights

#

Surely it would be similar to the Baneblade

#

which is kind of silly considering how much plastic is actually in the Baneblade kit, but that's not really how GW prices things

#

I guess Baneblade costs less than knights so who knows honestly

#

age never seems to factor much into pricing if at all

#

when did it come out originally anyway, like 2009?

I bought baneblade -- secondhand -- in 1998

Baneblade was 2007

#

Shadowsword/friends came two years later in 2009

Unpopular opinion, Fellblade chassis is a waste of production resources, it's just a Baneblade with all the detail filed off. Make the effin T-hawk already.

#

no thanks, a plastic marine superheavy is infinitely more interesting than a flyer

#

IMO most superheavies are a waste of resources
The sprue space used to make one superheavy could make like two infantry kits to be sold

#

I would infinitely prefer core units covered for all factions before anyone got a superheavy... but that ship has sailed

Superheavies do help to attract more attention to the setting and game

#

There is an... appeal in the market for large setpiece models at a more affordable price than resin

centerpiece models as a whole do work

people want capstones or big projects for their armies if they're passionate about them
