This is a list I've made to use the new Thallax and Typhon I've purchased. It's somewhat limited by what I own (hence the wacky companion loadout), but I do have some stuff I can sub out. Namely:
Kratos (fully magnetized)
5 Lascannon Marines
Master of Signals
Loadout on first rhino (has yet to be built, trying to decide if multi-melta is worth it)
Sergeant loadouts (have a few spare bodies to kit them out with special gear)

the plan is to have the forgelord babysit the typhon (I realize now I should have given him a nemesis bolter as well), while the moritat goes with the plasma squad in the land raider

here's my guide on beating them:
Thunder Hammers - Custodes actually suck in melee if they don't kill you first. Thunder hammers will wound on 2s and likely kill them (brutal 2 and 2 wounds), due to their 6++
Plasma - It's fast enough to target them where they can't get cover, and wounds on 2s. Instant death doesn't matter since nothing else will ID them.
Cheap units - You have to charge what you shoot, so just encircle them with stuff like infantry tercios and tactical squads. Spending 100pts to tie up 240-465 points (assuming 5-10 man guard squads) is a good deal.
Fast Units - Custodes are faster than marines, but they don't have jump packs. Things like thallax or bikes will destroy them unless they brought tanks of their own (custodes tanks are very fast and maneuverable)

I think I tabled him, partially because he did a banzai charge in the final turn
