I really like them and probably want to play even more, but these are the current models I have. Trying to figure out whether the balance on this is correct. Levi with storm cannons + venator might be overkill towards big vehicles? Is a unit of 5 khenetai big enough or do I need a full 10? Any improvements, comments or suggestions would be most helpful

I don’t know why they would ever be able. Pyromancy maxes at 3 and replaces your shooting attack.

He's referring to them having firing protocols 2. Let's just say they can't (and that I also can't biomancy multiple times in a turn).

You cannot because they take your shooting attack. It’s the same issue your pyromancy osiron runs into. It could shoot it’s volkite, fist, atheric lightning, ect as a dread but cannot shoot any if they pyromancy.
There is a link to my buddies Tson list. He uses a recon company with armored and lots of bikes. Bikes work.

Of the non psychic/bike stuff, I’ll say the following: 5 roto cannons are useless. Either go 7+ or drop them. Depending on vehicles in your meta I think your fine. The vent will pop stuff and you have meltas so your good. Your list lacks good anti dread and anti AA if I’m honest.
Also it has a major flaw in that I’m assuming your planning a massive DS with guard. Starting out you’ll have only the tank, Levi, numerologist, and osiron on the board. Even with the reroll, a single failed reserve roll or going second and getting shot twice might table you. If you have nothing on the board but only reserves still you lose. You also have to fit everything 12 inches of the first unit. That may be difficult assuming the troops+Khenati drop from GoTK and all 4 bike units drop.
On the khenati, I think it’s a bad idea to not max them out. But I also think as long as you accept they are for taking out power armor and NOT being the first to charge it’s fine

Hmmm.
Yeah, i hate to be the “meta” but I’d look into a HSS laz or some other long range for that other +1 to give out. Maybe look into some autocannon/laz preds or a lazor destroyer vidicators. Honestly those would help out your dread issue as well.

Vindicators/rapiers with lazor destroyers might be good if you don’t want to go the HSS route. OR deep strike 10 plasma/aetherfire guns and pray.
For anti dread
My anti dread is 10 laz+Solar aux vanquisher

Technically you can fury with 3 dreads as an HQ+2 single talons. Add a bunch of the castalax bots and live out your fury but not fury dreams!

would levi be better with melee/ranged weapon? (don't have the melta atm). Double stormcannon is really fun against landraiders and the like, but I do worry about lists without any vehicles

I’ve been running my Levi as a dual melee but I’ve given up and bought a melta to go claw melta.
