I have the points to add one to my list. My list is currently very melee and CQC-focused. With my Spartan and contemptor having las weapons.
Do I lean into the CQC aspect with a melee-focused leviathan dread, or add another las contemptor.
List is
Praetor /w CMD squad
2x10 Tacs
1x10 Templars
Spartan /w all Lascannons
Contemptor with fist and lascannon
1x10 Cata termies with combi bolter and power swords

Levithan has never done me wrong. Brutal (3) is nasty against anything and they basically hit on 2 wound on 2.
And the siege drill is nice. I run mine with duel assault cannons so you have some nice shooting in 24” range. And the phosphex if I have the points

Does the plastic kit come with enough bitz to have two drills? Or is it best to run one drill one claw?

There is no reason to run two drills. You get the bonus either way & you have to choose one weapon before you fight. But it has enough for 1 drill or two claws. And it’s super possable. He works well in my list as he is either a high priority target & takes way more than his points on shooting. Or he gets right on in and just destroys in close combat.

Well they are costly sure 2 wounds and good armor and saves but that can back fire
