Goal: I’m looking to go wider and have good speed to deal with armor/ high value targets where I can. Bikes will shoot the chaff and get stuck in as the chads get to the front. Any suggestions are appreciated!

3.5k list
Valdor 350pts

Shield Captain 200pts + Meridan Swords

Squad Hetaeron Guard 2x5 950pts

Custodian guard 3x6 1x5 1,095pts (2-3 spears per group then the rest are axes. Unsure if I should have board and sword?)

Agamatus Bikes 1x6 520pts

If the general principles stayed the same, than the list will be pretty hard to deal with

Do you really want your jetbikes to get stuck in, honestly? They should pick their targets which they can wipe in one go. Else they will get raped by pretty much anything in return. Heck, I’d say even tac marines could pose a threat in a few turns.

I would drop a squad of Hataeron and pick up Achillus and more troops. Make one squad at least 10 man strong.

Achillus is ws6 7 attacks with brutal3

On charge, against nemesis*

#

Because 5 man will crumble very easily when facing dedicated units like mor deythan or myrmidon secutors. Or just lots of wound spamming ones like the deathguard shooty terminators.

#

Having 10, in my opinion, will ensure you have bodies standing, unless opponent focuses majority of his firepower into just one unit

#

Have 5, lose 3 - now your cc capabilities are severely diminished

#

Have 10, lose 3 - you still have 30+ attacks at your disposal

@violet terrace I see I was worried about volume fire with Custodes so I was debating chunky squads vs quantity of squads to lessen the power loss.

But you also lose scoring power faster and in some missions give easier kill points to oponent
