The artillery shoots infantry heavy weapon teams, while the three land raiders rock up the middle and start assaulting. The Rhino despoiler squads hold the backfield or take a flank.

It can be. RAW are wonky. If you take the RoW and you go second, if your opponent pops a vehicle before your 1st turn, you lose the unit inside.

In my UM Armoured Spearhead list I ususally do 2 land raiders and a Spartan for troop carriers and 3 predators. Sabers, vindicators and a Fellblade or a kratos depending on where I can fit points. But no one really brings enough that can do anything to that even still they focus on the bigger stuff.

The Sicaran and predator put out enough shots to take a heavy weapons team and the Scorpio’s can bat clean up.

I haven’t encounter anyone that brings a full 10 lascannons or missile launchers, but if you prioritize your shots from that you should be fine. But the troop carriers behind them for a intervening models or cover save and you’re fine.
