well since it doesnt show as dependicy, and when trying to do research on it I couldnt figure out if its just for devs to build on or an actual build not yet. I'm guessing its a dependicy then

Most custom sidemod devs have their own API that’s required for their side mods to work
Try getting that, make sure you have your databases setup then they should work with no issues

Is there any guide on how to safely install the api? From what I can find I need to run $ java -jar application-shadow.jar in putty, but then what?

Ohh I think Daniel might include his API in the side mods already, do you have the correct version of arclight installed maybe that could be the issue here because arclight is definitely compatible
