no
Figured
us joining your company would provide zero benefits to us, nor would it help increase our growth.
you'd need to put like a lot of $$$$ our way for it to be worth it to us
also it's worth noting you guys literally got rejected from the public suffix list recently as well
Oh so that's why I had it on my search history 😭
the only domain you originally had on the psl, you removed and is now currently up for sale, so you don't have a great track record for user growth and especially user rentention either
Wanted to google it but I saw the website doesn't work
William, yes we were previously rejected but also got accepted too, on .ind.mom SLD. So we are basically starting from scratch again.
We removed our accepted SLD willingly
why?
You can check my removal request as well
On publicsuffix.
The sld niche was very limited. So registrations were very lower than expected
you can of course get profits by listing your sld for sale on registry system, as it connects with multiple registrar
i don't think you understand why is-a.dev operates as it does
I really do understand, and appreciate the github link of yours
but if you ever want to launch any sld in near future, we can connect over this for public usage
i am not in it for profit, never have, never will. we are a non-profit, it is a free service to help support open source developers, not to generate business. whether we have 20 or 20,000 users the mission is the same
Great, we can help you in that part as well, we can migrate your sld records to our registry system dns, and give you a complete registrar panel, built over nextjs. so your community can book domains directly via that, and manage perfectly like it should be.
and we won't charge you for anything on this.
we are sponsored by cloudflare, they give us their enterprise plan + many other addons for completely free. what benefits would your provider have over them? we have over 10,000 dns records and thousands on subdomains, as well as over 60 million dns queries in just the last 30 days.
For the DNS part: We currently use Cloudflare DNS since we are somewhat in a sponsorship through "Project Alexandria", so our DNS is stable as it is.
For the registrar panel: I feel like it could generate more abusive domains in general, hence why we still have the system that we currently have.
Honestly, I don't think the owner wants to move to your registrar system at all due to the registrar closing once due to not having enough profit and there could be other reasons which I probably forgot to mention.
TLDR: We aren't interested, at all
No issues, great to talk with @snow sentinel and @scenic swallow
feel free to connect with me whenever you will like to launch some new sldes
and want in registry system
Lol yeah
Honestly good luck with your registrar, but try to not shutdown again
yeah, have good plans this time, with 2 gtld applications
to icann? or do you mean slds?
icann
what gtlds?
