I've tried the HTTPS method several times and it worked for me literally in a minute or sometimes seconds, probably 30s - 50s.

I see that you can access /.well-known/discord in the browser but it still doesn't verify the domain which is very peculiar. Maybe try again now or else, contact Discord support.
