Does is-a.dev subdomain allow ip hosts that aren't https://

I have a server on a host called silly dev and it gives me a http://ip:port page but i want it to be https:// and attach it a subdomain for apis ( https://apis.glitched-da-kitty-cat.is-a.dev/ (would be subdomain if i find out how) )

why wont it let me put a tag

no the .dev tld enforces hsts

so you have to do https
