my is-a.dev domain did not connect after a pull request change to vercel subdomain

so the story is a bit long but... for several months i have registered an entry which would point cname record to my github.io webpage, however it said did not connect: potential security issue, so i just left it aside for a while.

Recently i tried deploying my github webpage to vercel and followed the guide (yes, even CI check was successful), at first by changing the vercel repo domain to the is-a.dev domain that i registered. Just before I would do a vercel related PR, my website at the is-a.dev domain went live without any further interactions. It only stopped responding after merge, and a did not connect all again. It's like trying to avoid the target I desire to point cname at.

Why is it happening for me? I've been following the guide and I'm 100% sure i did everything on track. Hope to seek help from you mates. Many thanks lol.
