github pages only allows one custom domain for a website

though i dont know whats causing maine.is-a.dev to show a different website

and when he tries to use maine.is-a.dev instead of jermaine.is-a.dev for codemaine.github.io

even though he has the right cname records

since the site is claimed by someone else you cant connect your domain

i tested 21Z's theory with a js.org and is-a.dev domain which are hosted on github but aren't claimed and i could freely claim the domains even though its not on my cname

i think since you didn't claim until now someone else might have claimed it and decided to make it a "scam" website
