Added zer0.is-a.dev using the dashboard.

Is the second one
Register zer0.is-a.dev with CNAME record pointing to https://zer0dev-exe.github.io/Zer0isADev/.
This one is the one I want to be merged
If you used the wrong account then log into the account which you dont want it merged and close the pr
np
Hey, the record here is also incorrect, correct it, get rid of the protocal and path
Uh?
Oh got it
You need to edit the file manually
You dont have access to your own fork?
I deleted the commit
To edit files you didnt need to do that
Like for the file PR automatically changes it
But it also works resending PR
uh
Do you have this in your github profile?
From there you need to edit the domain file to the correct records
Yea that fork go to domain file
Then search up your subdomain.json (without is-a.dev)
For example to search it up, zer0.json is what you should search for in the domain folder of your fork
done
PR?
pull request
okay
dont bother tryna hide any details btw
its all gonna be public
if ur thing is merged
it's already public the second he made the first commit
then how I make the website work?
I did this
After its been merged it will work
Idk how to commit the new CNAME
just make a new pr with the update god it's not that difficult
people just dont know how to make a pr
If they dont know how to make pr they can ask me (just realised they did ask for help but i didnt get the message)
First go to the github page of is-a.dev (https://github.com/is-a-dev/register), then go to Pull Request and click on "New Pull Request"
After you have clicked the "New Pull Request" button what you have to do is click on "compare across forks" (image 1 shows where the button is) then change the second head repository to yours (like image 2, but using mines for this example), then click on "Create Pull Request" on the remaining pages and you have successfully made a Pull Request! Now you have to wait until they feel like merging PR's (you can sent your PR in #pull-requests )
Edit: Do NOT forget to add .json in the name of the file or else it wont work
made a tutorial on how to do it if they dont know how to make a PR
Unless explicitly specified otherwise by a maintainer or in the requirement description, your domain must pass ALL the indicated requirements above.
Please note that we reserve the rights not to accept any domain at our own discretion.
domains folder and is in the JSON format.https:// or /.owner field.domain
is this one
files fine, not sure about the email part but you can check here to see what to put at the owner part https://www.is-a.dev/docs/domain-structure/
but site doesnt exist (classic issue), idk what the fuck github does to make it without a / so if you want to try to use cloudflare pages so that it aint that hell to make it a valid CNAME record
think to resolve the github site thing make your domain <githubusername>.github.io, unpublish the site then republish it
do this, you dont need to unpublish it since it will do it automatically if renamed
I think I did
the repo you have
you need to rename that so that the link works
rename to?
your website not is-a.dev fork btw
okay
this one?
like this
yep
Perfect
ill wait a little while then ill see
meanwhile you can see in the pages section what link it setted to
they need to review the fork
ik, but dont think they will accept a site that gives them 404 error
PR*
uh?
then how to fix that
im trying to fix it right now
okay
thats why i told you to rename the fork
fucking hell, github aint working again
try removing the domain for the site for the time being?
until pr is merged dont put that domain for now
it works but
lets see if that will work
https://zer0dev-exe.github.io/Zer0isADev/ you need to insert this
github supports CNAME and is-a.dev claim to support CNAME
and from my experience it worked for me
hosting wise if its hosted on github then your fine
nice
since domain is domain, github pages is where you put your files for your website
tho im not sure since i never heard of next.js and i just judged based of 1 min lookup
thats great, but we offer subdomains for developers (not that if you aint a dev we will reject it), and if you are a developer, you need to know how to make a PR
and a simple google search will tell you perfectly how to
do get that, but seems like even some people dont know how to make pr (not my first time explaining to someone how to do it)
people just need to use atleast 1% of their brain
we do have a website, and a discord bot for registration
is it hard to type the name you want and click enter?
if so, you should be focusing on something else first
idk people have issue with those and result in doing it manually
for most it works fine, and bot too
and we even got CLI lol
most of the times, yes
im amazed at people's levels of not using brain skill
i shouldn't have typed all this in a help thread lol
belonged to general
If the issue is still relevant, please provide more details and reopen the issue.
Did you make a PR and it got merged?
Did you connect the domain to your repo?
Aka your website
how long ago was it merged?
More than 12h
Try to wait until its been 24h
Didn't work
