Can we get a list going of all the thigns Arc Raiders did right that Legacy did wrong? I think there's a lot the devs can learn from the success of Arc Raiders - given that both games are PVPVE extraction games.

Right from the start - I'll start with the obvious which is the "hey dummy" popup you get BEFORE you enter any map telling you if you are missing BASIC supplies. I wish Legacy had this. I can't tell you the number of times I've entered a map in Legacy and forgotten to resupply up on bandages and it ruins my whole game.

Another one that's really obvious which is a minimum "free loadout" to get back into the game quickly. And don't say Legacy has this because it simply doesn't. The free stuff you get in Legacy is below common and you would NOT be able to re-enter the Night map because you must have at leas 5 common level items to enter. So you NO you don't have this in Legacy.

Oh another one - one that I've asked for for Legacy and I see they already have it in Arc is the "single button" to empty/unload your inventory into storage. I wish Legacy had that.

Its nice quality of life stuff, but its not the reason why arc has much more success

Arc is massively advertised on social medias, yt and streaming platforms, its shooter so easy to understand and apply former experience to for all the casuals. Its very polished, they developed it for several years before releasing, and releasing The Finals based on arc raiders development, to earn money for the arc raiders project. I sincerely hope for Legacy's success. They are both pvpve games, but still very very different, Legacy is generally a way more niche genre, and too many of the npc players find legacy learning curve too steep. You will never kill a good player in legacy as a noob, even rarely as a moderate player, but you can easily get fast success by ratting or likewise in arc raiders.

One thing - PVE, up all the damage numbers 200-300%, and player / npc speed 15-20%

Appreciate the idea sharing, Although I played Legacy for the two free days for 2 1/2 hours and went straight back to Legacy. Legacy must also be doing a lot of things right😅. Being able to quickly swap to deferent vendors from little windows inside the actual vendor screens was a nice touch though.

I swear to god Vegan Barbarian is a dev plant. There's no other way. Constantly perking his head up to glaze the devs even when it's completely unrelated to anything. "Guys let's make a productive list of things this other game does that could benefit Legacy" "akchtually guys legacy is great"

It's either a dev alt account, a paid shill, or worse, a delusional discord dweller that decided that this was the hill he would die on for some unfathomable reason.

We're all here cause we like Legacy, bozo. But right no it needs some tough love, not the fever induced rimjobs you're hellbent on providing .

I would like to see the cooking pot right above the map selection / ready up panel. It could have a fly out menu with the available foods to add to the cooking pot.

I asked for this 2 seasons ago, gl.

I think they nailed the dynamic events pretty good, but that's because they were confident already that their game was going to be a success. Either way, apart from the great dynamic and seasonal "live" events in the game, it's that inventory and stash feels much more clean and welcoming everytime you use it for new or experienced players alike. Imo, the only thing they don't need from Arc Raiders is their class fantasy and medieval-like history. While Arc Raiders focuses much more on the ARCs (the enemies and their learning AI) and craftable items, Legacy is a target for people that like having a class role like in Diablo and grind that like it's going to be their best class story that current season, but in an extraction pvppve game. Btw, Arc Raiders currently update the store items very often trying to milk their playerbase as much as possible while they are at 300k+. There aren't much to compare class based extraction with this game other than what people have mentioned already...
