Blue+ priest damage was awful?
compared to blue other classes yes.
our dmg nerf needs to be reverted or compensated for more. that's all
Priest Damage is only good IF you land it , and with the bugs with fury it going through the ground , and going max range when you clearly put it close doesnt help. The damage nerf wouldnt be so bad IF they wopuld of fix the bugs with priest armor not working and being undertuned
Priest damage is not good. They are the slowest class at killing the ogre, and like pointed out above, the priests attacks travel incredibly slow so landing them in PVP is difficult.
think they need to revert it til they fix the bugs with the class first and rework some armor pieces than tune the damage if it a problem , blue priest vs a blue warrior yea it would take about 4-5 charged furys to kill them . also even if damage is strong good luck catching any class running , battlepriest shoulders /spark running does not gain ground on someone full running , cause of the animations you have to use
priest is faster than full running since you radiant dash too in the combo
I would really like to know who is complaining about priest being too strong. I've almost unanimously seen people saying priest is the weakest class in the game.
Wounds already make healing significantly worse.
Priest can gain ground in people using the sparks and radiant dash as long as you either jump while sprinting to put your weapon away in the air so you maintain momentum or by sheathing your weapon and immediately dodging to remove the stow weapon animation.
That said, that does not warrant a nerf to what is considered the weakest class by most of the player base

Also the words from the devs was to "juice up the Priest this patch vs melee classes" their word from the dev stream! We got massive nerfs to our dmg and range nerfs and stun size nerf HOW DOSE THAT HELP
I don't understand at all. Do any of the devs touch priest at all??? Priest damage is incredibly slow moving and this incredibly easy to avoid. We have the slowest lil time for PvE bosses even spamming spells with glowing sanctum..... We can't apply frostbite which chunks bosses and we can't apply hemorrhage which also eats through Boss HP. Our damage is significantly lower than warrior damage, which by the way, is totally understandable, but seriously wtf. We didn't fix anything that was broken. We reduced the cost of morrow and made it's health scale so maybe it's better in blues? I'll have to rest that, but I imagine in greys and whites it is probably a completely dead button again.....

Rogues can unironically run a basic circle around you and you can't hit them with wand or stun
Sadly im in China on a business trip and won't have a reliable connection until this weekend. Let me tell you how excited I am to come back to play the nerfed version of what was widely considered the weakest class.
On the plus side they buffed the damage in the staff's laser which because it roots you in place is a complete dead button in PVP, and I. Guessing the beam is still completely unreliable, and if the thought process is that priest can now play more at range like a sniper, I have news for you, that completely limits our ability to support our allies in trios because our other abilities have a much shorter range and our attack's travel too slow and will never connect at that range......

Also wtf.... They nerfed the damage of fully charged stun by 30%?????
So now a non-charged stun does 200ish damage, and previously the fully charged stun. Did 400ish damage. Now it does 280ish for a fully charged stun that you also can't move while charging?????
yea at the cost of 2/3 stamina .... which could get you killed and is only a vaible option in a short range not longrange
nerfs with no "buffs" what so ever XD or bug fixes that could of been "buffs".
I also want to point this out because I haven't been able to play, but the changes to radiant dash having recovery frames may actually kill the ability for priest to catch up to people, and if it doesn't it definitely slows it and limits it.

Hold on now, they did remove the bug where our mana Regen was halved for attacking ........ And now the stagger being gone means that players hit with our stun won't immediately have CC immunity.... Now it sounds like the stun is pretty much impossible to land in 1v1. I mean it already was extremely hard against good players since one dodge from any class could avoid it and if you just sprint you avoid it, they gutted the damage in the charged stun since against good players you kind of had to use it to have a chance of landing it. Oh and let's not forget the buffed he health in mirror which is based on the gear you're in, which means it's still very likely a completely dead button.
But the upgrade to levitate now actually functions so it costs less stamina to levitate which definitely doesn't leave you open to getting knocked out of the air and stunned just for getting hit or anything.
I'll be honest here, massive priest nerfs were DEFINITELY not on my bingo card....

Full blue priest basic furry dose 284 dmg and then you full charge it for 15 dmg more 🤡 \
comign from a priest that uses glowing sanctum the mana change just feels like a revert ..... everything priest got this patch came with bigger downsides.
WITH indirect nerfs , before priest had the best time gearing for blues cause of spiderweave being easier than heavy leather, now other classes have it easier than priest with grave wax and disenchanting of other classes stuff so it wont be to long before most people running greens are in blue and at that point priest will lose more kits given they are weaker. any of these changes would be fine imo IF they give us the escapes from melee as they said and fixing of gear passives

I'm a priest main..... Correction was a priest main. I can't fathom how I'm supposed to main them after this patch. It's HORRIBLE.
I agree that cloth gear is the easiest to make though.
keep in mind GOOD warrior are running holy def food too , talk to a few and that what they run to sure up they defense cause they already have high pdr and holy damage was pretty much true on them

it is but it not liek it leagues behind it just has it flaws that hold it back compare to other classes
like before dieing as priest wasnt as bad cause you have a better time gearing than the other classes but now they have it easier so i can see priest deaths going up , no one really fears priest sure could they die from one but if they ever lose a fight they can just run , priest isnt bursting people down like warrior , aint perma rooting people fleeing like rogue and not chasing down players with superior moblity and range as hunter
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they were like 10% of the power level of other classes, but I thought they were wildly considered the worst. It feels like we also got hit the hardest this patch though sooooooo
priest wasn't to behind from being equal with the other classes it just need some rework gear pieces and bug fixes , but it gone the other way WITHOUT those fixes so yea now it IS the weakest class by far , hunter think they are with the cooldown nerf but they havent adapted yet like rogues/warrior did with they nerfs, a few days im sure alot of hunters who crutched on cyclone spam will play around terrain more or use something else more offensive than defensive
I agree with you for the most part. Its hard to say anything about the gear reworks because some of the perks you get are just straight bad and they haven't released any information on what those changes will actually look like. The damage nerf to the charged stun. Feels way to heavy handed and I'm not saying priest was unplayable because they were so bad last patch, but I am saying I think the vast majority of the community agrees that if they had to rank the classes priest was the worst so to see nerfs to priest like this feels insane

That's the one we will see if it's a button this patch or not, but given what I'm seeing with the other skills I'm going to guess the AP ratios aren't high enough for it to really have any more health at all
