Is it intended for Rogues to be able to use each other's smoke bombs?

Hunters cannot use each other's tornadoes so was wondering if this was intended or not. As a dagger rogue fighting a sword rogue you cannot currently use smoke bomb because they will infinitely blade dash reset you in your own smoke bomb.

what? you can jump off ur teammates tornado? the enemy cant because its a dmg ability/snare but smokes dont do dmg or snare so it makes sense everyone in the smoke is invis

I do believe it is intentional for smoke bomb to hide any rogue inside of it.

Yeah I know you can use friendly hunter tornadoes I'm asking the devs the question because using a smoke bomb feels like a tactical choice and part of your kit to reset. If you're not able to use it because it benefits your enemy more it feels kinda bad but might be intentional

you can use it in 3s as a dagger rogue to try and get a res off, it also helps get ur mana back up if ur caught out, it only really sucks against sword rogues tbh

night stinger (what ever the name is of the sword that resets blade rush from stealth) rogue interaction with smoke bombs is not very fun to fight against. im hoping that interaction gets limited in some way

I mean, not to put too fine a point on this but like... the way I avoid getting demolished is to leave the smoke bomb.

100% that is the counterplay to it and you will maybe get hit by 1 blade rush instead of infinite reset, but if you're putting the smoke bomb down yourself defensively it feels weird to be killing yourself and have to move away from it. Say you're getting slammed by a hunter and need a bit of space because there isn't cover nearby so you smoke bomb, but she has a sword rogue teammate that instantly goes berserk blade rushing at you in your own smoke bomb 😅

I guess you just use it for the instant stealth and just space away from it hoping it distracts them enough

it would be hard for the enemy rogue as well since u would be invis too, right? or is the aoe for the blade-rush the same size as the smoke screen?

I mean it's not exactly small especially with the after image and spamming it let's be honest here
