Can I be honest? Running around with my duo partner as two rogues has been very fun. 2v3 can be challenging and winning the team fights feels even more satisfying. If you're not playing rogue/war though I could definitely see 2v3's hard af.

You should be using the right potions if ur 2v3ing, and donā€™t get complacent in fighting pve thinking no one will jump on you. You can curb stomp players as a duo if u just play smarter and use the tools they give you currently. As people get more geared it might just be a stat check and 2v3 might not be viable, currently tho itā€™s very easy to win 2v3 if you know what ur doing.

It seems like despite the 10+ posts on here daily asking about it, the devs donā€™t care enough to answer.
You will get apologists coping and telling you to use ā€œfillā€, an option so counterproductive and stupid in a hardcore game itā€™s almost a joke.
The balance in the game is already horrendous, so they will never ever work on adjusting it to a duos mode. Itā€™s the simple truth. I know for a fact they have enough stats to prove duos is far and away more popular than trios, but here we are. It seems better to alienate your community from the first week than to take accountability it.

Playing as DuoĀ“s in 3v3 is just a pain. The Fill function honestly makes it even worse..... You will always get a no gear low brain random dude who runs off at the first sight of danger.
I now have 30hours in 3v3 with my friend and we might had max 5 good random players joining us.

We need Duos!

Splitting the 2k players into another queue would split playerbase further. If anything maybe try to weight it so it throws you with other duos if there's enough if not you fight vs trios. So it's not a separate queue.

Matchmaking takes what, 10 sec? I'd rather have to wait even 2+minutes to have a balanced game than queueing instantly at a disadvantage

I dont think that you guys are understanding the problem with a duo mode. The game doesnt have the player count to keep a duo mode going. you cant just keep splitting up the low population of the game into more and more modes otherwise you will have completly empty lobbies and everyone will start complaining that "Its just a PVE game"

theres tons of players out there that would enjoy the game that probably just dont know about it. i havent gotten a single youtube ad for this game. i only know about it bc of asmongold

Completely understand not having the player base for another Q. IDK how possible it would be to create a duo Q to test activity. If player count is low, maybe solo and duo Q would be more advantageous to game growth and current playerbase than solo and trio Q. Bring back trio Q when the playerbase rises. Just spit balling here.

Totally Charthy, besides the fact that there are more duos than trios, people will end up getting tired of playing 2v3 and consequently they will lose players, many players, that the players will be more separated and the game will feel empty is very incorrect and a cheap excuse

The cycle had a solo, duo, and trio mode. It got around 2k players for a while. I think this game can support a duo mode. Since you can join in mid match that should help. I can't stand playing with a random in trios.. it just doesn't work. I want to play with my friend but I have more fun playing solo then with a random.

same. its bad id rather play solos than with my brother in a 3v3 with randoms, we try 2v3 but obviously its super unbalanced

somehow I don't think the game won't die just cos they dont have a duos mode. It's not an incorrect/cheap excuse, it's a literal fact, having more queues splits the playerbase and increases queue times.

They said they are looking to add it if player numbers increase. If you don't agree see their statement below

the devs would love to do duo but they need the server infrastructure and the playerbase for it. for now it would maybe be able to support it but when the 2nd and 3rd map comes out that fractures the playerbase tremendously.

yeah i agree.. game has nomarketing and few players and a TRIO mode but not a DUO... should just switch trio to duo.
