Duos? Please

Its actually impossible to play the game as a duo vs trios. It would just be more fun in general having duos aswell.

dont say "impossible". We always play in duos with my mate and defeat trios. (Both lvl 19). If you know what to do you can outplay them

While i agree playing duos is not "Impossible" it absolutely does suck, you can rarely take fights because you're almost always outnumbered, you pretty much have to rat all the time, and it's not fun gameplay. IMO duos would be a fantastic addition. splitting the player base is better than having people quit, and if trios dies in the process that just means duos is what people wanted anyway.

i mean just get a third its really not that hard. like theres a ton of people playing the game. game is also much better balanced in trios and all classes are very viable

I've played like 80 hours since the game came out on wednesday and almost all my team run into are duos. We kinda didnt want a duo game mode cuz it just splits the player base up more but literally everyone playing the game almost is a duo. game probably needs it.

There's a lot of people with some social anxiety that don't want to play with randos, and they can only convince one person to invest in an early access game. 🤣

what are we saying, most ppl in mixed are duos not trios. for the trio player (me) its very boring we just feel like we grief duo teams all night.

making up statistics and assuming ppl gonna just be buying games for ppl is crazy work.

I mean I agree I’d love if this game blew up and could support duo Que as well and the 2nd and eventual 3rd map. I do agree the competition is a bit low right now but people will learn and get geared. Game really needs a way to permanently upgrade your base gear to full whites imo

Making duo in this game would bring more people to play because some people dont have a third person and it also wouldnt make people stray away from the game bec you're fighting three people, not duos.

The amount of people searching for a third shows there are more Duo's out there then Trio's.

Throwing more variable into the mix - in this case a third player instead of allowing duos only, usually hides the most blatant balancing issues. It's the same for PvE and PvP.
In regards to using the "fill" option, this isn't League or CS. I don't want a random teammate every game, it's completely illogical with this gameplay loop and loot systems.
Play as a consistent trio and literally 80%+ of your games are free from the moment you spawn in.
I wanted to play as a duo, I gave the game as much time as I could, now my duo and I are done. It's no big deal and if the devs are confident this is the right choice I hope it works out for them and for the game.

What server do you play on? I only see trios and play a trio myself 1 party member and a rando.

I get it, I play as a team with my son, most of my friends aren't pc gamers or if they are aren't into this genre and those who are don't have gaming hours in my available time. So, I'd be down for duos, but the playerbase needs to grow first to support it and provide the level of action desired. AFAIK this game is designed for teams of 3 with solo as a secondary game mode.

Right now they don't want to further divide the player base and have too empty of maps.

If you don't want a rando try using discord to find someone who fits your party needs. There are looking for group section in this discord after all.

I just play with randos usually, but I've been considering scouting out a group on here. Guilds are going to be a thing down the line so, might as well get started bringing people together.

I play in teams between 1 and 4 pm usually. I play solo after 10 or 11 pm

well yes it is probably more common for it to be a duo and a random than 3 randoms. but also the 3 randoms are less likely to have voice chat on

I mean i met snylack over this discord and other great players. I feel its a bit easy going make duos because i cant/wont talk. Takes again ressources away from the devs trying to balance around duos aswell as splitting the population. So for me i dont see the point for duos. Get out there and make some connections :]
