Odd issue I've been having for some time now, the SudoVanilla website does have duplicate code.
After taking the website's codebase apart, I still can't figure out what is causing this.
As far as I'm aware, it has to do something with the <slot/> tag in the default layout that is used.

i noticed that the first footer is within .content div, so it's probably slotted somewhere?
