SUBMISSION FORMAT
In order to make this easy for me to capture on stream, I'm expecting all images to come from the Nintendo Switch 2 Capture Tool (or at the very least, match the resolution of those images). This means that every image needs to be 16:9 aspect ratio, and 1920x1080 resolution.
This is because I plan designating a specific part of my layout to displaying the hints as I look at them, so keeping the image sizes consistent helps to make it easy to swap between hints and submissions with very little issue.
As for what I'm looking for in each hint, the way I'm looking for hints to be done is in the Mario Kart World Screenshot mode using various zoom settings (L and R on the controller) with the HUD disabled (+ button) and no filters/frames added.
For the first shot, I'd like you to use the maximum zoom possible in the screenshot tool, for the second shot there's not a default middle option, but if you just pick somewhere between minimum and maximum zoom, that'd be fine, and for the final shot, I'd like you to zoom out entirely.
It's okay if the final image gives away the spot entirely, that's kind of the point; assuming I get to this stage I'd only be getting a single point anyways, and even then there's still a chance I might not know where it is. This is just so I don't get too caught up in any particular submission for too long.
Ideally I'd like the perspective to be the same for all three images, so the only change from shot to shot would be how zoomed in you are and no changes to angles, directions, etc.
However, with that in mind, you do not have to zoom in on the character you're playing as. This means that if you want to adjust the pan/angle/etc BEFORE taking the three hint shots, you're welcome to do so.
Once you have all three shots, I'd also ask that you open the World Map outside of screenshot mode, and take a final picture to show where your character is on the map so once I lock in a spot I can see how close I am to the actual location.
