it's impossible for me to tell specifically what i did differently between this and other attempts without going into vlc and frame-by-framing it but i have a pretty strong suspicion that it's because i did tsurugi faster after parry, got a slightly higher juggle off hayate, and delayed 2mp slightly longer

i really need to play more often, i was a threat when online edition was still active

just never really made the full transition to fightcade because a good percentage of players on there are clinically insane
