Over 150 hours in the new open world games i’d consider a lot for most people. And i’d say about 60 hours would be a lot for the older games with no overworld encounters

I think i have closer to 400 in SV.

In ZA I don’t think i have even 150 just because of how uninspired i feel the gameplay is. It doesn’t feel fun “exploring” in ZA like it was in Legends Arceus

The terrain is a big factor in that for me. ZA is just very plain jane

Blissey is a good dynamax mon for charging up energy cause it's bulky and Pound is a spammy move so it charges max energy faster

it upsets me greatly how many of those tasks I have left to do and it's just one very specific useless card I will never use, and the game refuses to give me anything I need for 100% completion because they want me to spend money & keep pulling instead of guaranteeing at least 1 new card per pack that you need for completion, with guarantees for standard rarer cards needed for the base dex, not the extra stuff. You'd think for a game meant for casual TCG players and potentially children, they'd have laws making it so you can absolutely guarantee pulls work out in your favor, not against, but they want to make money it sucks too because I've seen people already complete the Paldea set that just came out and I'm still like 30 cards away, with Coby and a couple other people also giving me one free daily card (which is really sweet but don't feel obligated to). Didn't even finish the Gardevoir set 😛 they really screw over f2p lmao

Remote PC makes a lot of these runs so much quicker, it kinda skips the requirement of HMs in a certain way since you can always swap teams right before the trainer

So you'll just end up teaching them to HM slaves unless you are facing other trainers on water

I'm too afraid to try competitive, I'm imagining it'll just be like the battles in Violet where I queue into a match and the other person has some tanky Pokémon that will always go first and one shot my Pokémon, giving them an easy win because I don't care for or know the meta, I just wanted to use my favorite Pokémon.

to an extent, I do use some meta builds on Violet for Tera raids but it's usually from a list of Pokemon built for coop play and not to one shot, but to actually help teammates to set up
