#☣️ SCAM USB ☢️ SSD DRIVES⚠️

This shows a drive sold as two terabytes (2TB) which actually only contains 62 gigabytes (62GB) of flash storage.
⚠️ Copying data will not report any errors when drive capacity has been reached...

whats wrong with microcenter
INLAND are sourcing good silicon, I just wasn't aware Inland was owned by Microcenter. So I just wanted to point out the importance of doing research into the devices being sold online. Some of the 'no-name' branded USB 3 Drives being reported as 1TB / 2TB capacity, are programmed to mislead consumers. I havent tested INLAND, but the reviews seem to be mostly positive.
I wanted to make a list of fake branded USB drives, but 9 of the 12 Amazon links I've sourced dont exist as products anymore 😮💨
I own a few of them. While not fake. They are definetly not top of the line controllers.
Yea I bought a genuine 256GB HP 818w 3.2 flash drive recently, and I might as well had been using USBv2.. copying around 14MB/s... 😩 My 2TB Spinning USB HDD writes at around 100MB/s, I had much buyer's remorse..
- So now I've gone an bought a bunch of 2nd 256GB land laptop Gen3 NVMe drives, and a USB3 caddy for them.. The image files copy at between 1.2GiB - 800MiB /s now..
Any price for, say, a 1TB SSD at a fairly low price, is too good to be true. AliExpress is what you should avoid when buying storage, even SD cards if they're some unknown brand, or just says "SD Card" (or in your case "HardDisk" on your SSD drive.)
