feather executes opengl code that requires an opengl context (like many, many other mods out there), context that is created by the game at startup
vulkanmod removes that initialization step and instead replaces it with one that initializes vulkan
vulkan works in a drastically different way compared to opengl, which means one is not compatible with the other.
since the opengl initialization code has been removed by vulkanmod, how is the opengl context supposed to be created (and used) if it never gets called?
no opengl context = crashes if you try to use any opengl function

can someone help me, this happend to me before last year ago and it happend to me just yesterday. Whenever i try to join a server it always says this, i have to keep reconnecting to eventually get in but takes many tries. Even though i try to restart the launcher, restart my pc, or even delete feather and reinstall it again it wont work. it's either a network problem or corrupted feather cache problem then, you can try deleting your feathers cache -> %appdata% -> .feather -> delete cache. you can try resetting your mods by deleting the mods folder as well

the easiest way is to go in game then if u have modmenu go in it and look for iris and settings otherwise just go in key binds and put a key to open the settings of the mod then do open folder go on modrinth download the shader u want and put it in the folder. You might need to relaunch ur game and then there should be a key or in settings again to toggle it on and off
