Its causing it to use more than double the memory it should be. And even when minecraft inst launched and its just the launcher open its using over 2gb of memory

Something is wrong with the feather launcher since there is a cleanup.feather process in there. That when killed, moves the OpenJDK process out from the feather launcher processes and into its own thing. So something isn't running that process right or it's hanging

It's most likely NOT a hard coded issue since I've never seen anyone with this issue. It could be an incapability with an outdated java install, or something else on your PCs end

because look at this network protocol error it crashes when you have too high a version, not that it is, but just let's say that the server is after 1.20.1 and you are playing on 1.21.1 it will kick you out because that's how it works in Minecraft, it's not the feather's fault, but the plugin itself via the version on the servers

no not really i figured it out eventually its fine i wiped everything and reinstalled

tho i did find something a while ago i downloaded something to let me check what individual apps are doing. I filtered it and i found the problem. Essentially feather runs everything correctly but when javaw statrs there are always 3 successful processes and the the forth one always fails and it loops. 3 success and 1 fails
