the maximum is set because of your pc. If you have like 32gb of RAM you will have more ram but I think you have like 8Gb or 12gb and feather don’t allow you to set all your ram for your game bc your pc needs it too while your game is running

That's what I did, but it keeps recreating it on the old drive. The old drive is considered the default drive by Windows which has also been glitchy while trying to switch, but I'm starting to wonder if I just need to uninstall Minecraft and Feather then reinstall on the new drive

If your fine with losing your old Minecraft stuff it's best to also delete your old .minecraft folder.
(You'll use your worlds etc so back them up before if you want to keep them)

Can you disable all mods and put them back one by one (and test after each mod)
This way you can find out which mod is causing the crash.
(I recommend you start with rendering mods like sodium, entity culling etc.)

I'm not sure if Feather provides support to Mac users, but I keep crashing in version 1.21.7 and 1.21.8 (I just want to play with Happy Ghasts 🙁 ).
I have tried to repair my game. The game crashes when joining a multiplayer server, or on a singleplayer world.
From looking at the logs, it seems to be an issue with waypoints.
