I had to moove away from Feather client rn sadly, as Iris is not working anymore for me. Everytime i boot it up with shaders it crashes, as soon as i disable iris it works. I asked Iris modteam about it and they said its an feathers issue, so i made a test and used an supported client, it worked fine there. Went back to feather and boom crash. If no one has a fix im probably gonna have to switch

I don't know why this keeps happening, but everytime I load a singleplayer world on feather i get HEAVY lag spikes (fps drops down to 10-20). This does not happen on multiplayer servers. And no, it's not because of my computer- I average 300+ fps and no lag spikes occur on other Minecraft clients. If someone knows why this is happening and the solution to it, please let me know 🙏

i am using feather from almost 1.5 yrs and i ussually get 250 to 300 fps but recently i started playing 1.21.1 and my fps are dropped to 70 - 80 and sometimes also below 60 fps and there is no issue in my device cause when i launched my original minecraft client the fps was around 250 as before. i frustrated today cause i was killed in a smp cause of bad fps. and today i shifted to lunar 🙂 if u can, pls help me to resolve this issue and if it resolves i will be back on feather

you can use fabric download as a mod in any launcher you want, benefits are you can change the version of fabric loader based on your interest

nope, the setup just installs feather to your pc, if you don't have feather launcher on your desktop open the windows searchbar and search for it, then open file location -> right click on the .exe file -> send to desktop

Replace the 3 with your desired max RAM to allocate, also move the slider to it too

how to get good fps in feather, I usually get like 200-300fps in lunar, and then it drops to like <100 in feather with random spikes of screen freezes, also I got basically the same mods in both, sodium and all the performance boosting mods, what can I do aside from pray that my feather gets good
