you can't change your username in feather client, you have to change it in your minecraft account. log in on minecraft.net and go to your profile, you will be able to change it there

could be caused by a variety of issues. first check that your gpu drivers are up to date

you can go onto your gpu vendors website (nvidia, amd) and find the drivers section

or you can use the geforce app or amd adrenaline
